Jeff has been my trainer for several years. I am currently recovering from a ski injury and surgery and Jeff has devised an extremely creative rehabilitation program. He makes training interesting and finds the right balance between working hard but appropriate for my condition at the moment. He is very focused and experienced. No chit chatting; knows the anatomy well and very creative with exercises that produce functional results. Rarely uses weights and focuses on form and healthy fitness. Jeff is the best!

My husband David and I have been working individually with Jeffrey for almost three years. We are enormously pleased with our experience. David, an aging former athlete, wanted to lose weight, gain strength, increase endurance, and generally get in shape for skiing. “I just want to feel healthy and happy again.” That was a goal I’d set time and time again, but struggled to achieve on my own. My diet was atrocious – just think sugar, processed foods, and more sugar! I have a heavily sedentary job and had deprioritized my fitness. This culminated in me reaching the heaviest and the most unhealthy (physically and mentally) that I’d ever been. So when I moved to New York, my first objective was to start afresh and find the help I needed. The answer was Jeff Richardson. Jeff is more than a trainer – he is a healer, he is a friend. Jeff designed a specific program for me comprising a mix of resistance cardio and weight training to improve my stability, cardiovascular endurance and strength. He is also very good at adapting the routine as and whenever necessary to deal with my pre-existing injuries. In fact, for years I had suffered from plantar fasciitis in both feet – but not anymore! Jeff has also taught me a lot about nutrition and put me onto a good eating plan, which are just as important as exercise. I often confide in him when I’ve fallen off the wagon (I may have devoured several packets of cookies at times!), but he keeps me motivated to get back up and keep going. Best of all, Jeff celebrates all of my achievements – whether it’s in the gym, in the kitchen, or life in general. We’ve been training now for over 10 months and the results have been amazing. I’ve lost more than 22 pounds and have a new outlook on health and fitness. I now know that with hard work and the right support I can tackle anything. And, more importantly, I know that even if I stray from my routine, Jeff will get me back on track. Thanks to Jeff, I am healthy and happy again… finally.

Jeff has been my trainer for about two years. I was finally motivated to do something after many years of leading a very sedentary lifestyle and having a family history and risk of diabetes. Jeff developed a program that was difficult and extremely challenging but I was able to complete. He is very conscious and focused on my progress and success. Jeff is always on time and ready with all the equipment needed to begin the session. His experience and dedication are evident as he combines aerobics, weights and various other equipment and exercises. He designs and structures every section to develop and challenge me with great knowledge of my muscles and body limitations. I trust him completely. After a while, my family and friends started commenting about how different I look, how much taller I appear, but the most important thing is how good I feel. I’m very pleased with his work and my progress.

I’ve been training with Jeffery for a little over two years so far. Here’s why: Jeffery motivates me. He believes in each of his clients and is incredibly positive and supportive in a genuine way. No empty cheerleading here. I trust his knowledge. Jeffery can tailor complete programs for clients with a wide variety of goals. His wealth of knowledge and experience, and his interest in always expanding that experience, are truly impressive. I trust his judgment. He knows when I can do more than I think I can, and when I need to dial it back. And the results are obvious - not only do I perform better in workouts (I never thought I'd be able to do pull-ups!), but I love that I just feel strong as I go about my day. I met Jeffrey about 7 years ago when due to some changes in my professional career and personal life I realized I needed to stop deluding myself about my "workouts" as in get up early go on the treadmill get bored go to the shower. Jeffrey has been instrumental in me finding a way to fitness and pain free workouts that has improved my overall sense of well being, reduced my joint pain/discomfort and led to a reduction in two dress sizes.
